The Brief
Our client wanted to make much more of her garage and the outdoor area beyond it. Rather than using the space simply for storage, she wanted to create somewhere that could become part of her lifestyle — a space dedicated to relaxation, exercise and wellbeing.
The brief was to create a stylish, practical environment that felt like a natural extension of the home, with the flexibility to use the space in different ways while making the most of both the garage and outside area.
The Challenge
The existing garage had plenty of potential, but it wasn't being used to its full advantage. The challenge was to completely rethink the space and create something that felt inviting and purposeful, rather than like a traditional garage.
There was also the outdoor area to consider. The two spaces needed to work together, creating a cohesive environment that felt connected and gave more opportunities to enjoy the space.
The Design
The design centred around wellbeing, with each element carefully considered to create a space that was both practical and enjoyable to spend time in.
The garage was transformed with a clean, contemporary look, carefully chosen finishes and thoughtful lighting, creating a much more calming and sophisticated environment. The outdoor area was incorporated into the overall design, helping to create a natural flow between inside and out.
The result was a versatile space designed around our client's lifestyle — somewhere to exercise, relax, switch off and enjoy.
