Double Garage Conversion with Resin Flooring & Multi-Use Lifestyle Space

This double garage in Essex was completely transformed into a bright, multi-functional lifestyle space designed for modern indoor living rather than vehicle storage.

The project involved a full ground-up floor reconstruction, including excavation, damp-proof membrane installation, and a new concrete slab, followed by a premium GarageTuff resin flooring system for a durable, seamless finish.

Internally, the space was redesigned to support multiple uses including a dedicated indoor growing area with ventilation, infrared sauna installation, and an open recreational zone suitable for table tennis and general use. Roof storage was added via a loft hatch and fold-away ladder to maximise usable floor space.

Additional works included wall-mounted bike storage, internal and external sockets, upgraded LED lighting, external lighting for security and usability, and provision for an EV charging point.

The result is a clean, modern, and highly practical space that blends wellness, recreation, and storage — creating a true extension of the home with a premium, low-maintenance finish throughout.
