The Brief
The homeowners wanted to completely rethink their double garage, transforming it from a traditional vehicle storage space into a modern, indoor environment that could support a variety of activities.
The vision was to create a versatile space that combined storage, wellness and recreation while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic and a premium finish throughout.
The Challenge
The existing garage floor required significant work before the transformation could begin. To create a comfortable and long-lasting space, the project demanded a complete ground-up reconstruction alongside the integration of several specialist features.
The challenge was to balance practical storage requirements with dedicated zones for relaxation and leisure, all while ensuring the garage remained bright, organised and easy to maintain.
The Design
The project began with the excavation of the existing floor, followed by the installation of a damp-proof membrane and a new concrete slab. To complete the foundation of the space, we installed a premium GarageTuff resin flooring system, creating a seamless and durable finish.
Internally, the garage was redesigned to accommodate multiple uses. A dedicated indoor growing area with integrated ventilation sits alongside an infrared sauna and an open recreational zone designed for table tennis and everyday family use.
To maximise the available space, additional roof storage was introduced via a loft hatch and fold-away ladder, while wall-mounted bike storage keeps larger items organised and off the floor.
New internal and external sockets, upgraded LED lighting, security lighting and provision for an EV charging point ensure the garage is fully equipped for modern living.

What was once a conventional garage has been transformed into a sophisticated lifestyle space that supports relaxation, recreation and practical everyday storage.
