The Brief
The homeowners wanted to make better use of their double garage by creating a space that reflected the way they live. Their vision was to combine secure and organised storage for their McLaren with a dedicated dance studio that could be used regularly without compromising the functionality of the garage.
Alongside these two key requirements, the family also wanted improved storage, a cleaner overall appearance and a garage that felt like a genuine extension of their home.
The Challenge
Balancing two completely different uses within one garage required careful planning.
The design needed to provide a premium environment for the McLaren while also creating a bright, open area suitable for dance practice. At the same time, the space had to incorporate practical storage solutions that would keep the garage organised and clutter-free.
The Design
The garage was divided into two distinct but complementary zones.
On one side, luxury metal cabinetry provides dedicated storage for tools, accessories and everyday essentials, creating a clean and organised environment for the homeowner's McLaren. Upgraded flooring and contemporary wall finishes complete the look, giving the space a premium feel.
The opposite side of the garage was transformed into a home dance studio, with large wall mirrors and an open floor area providing the flexibility needed for practice and performance.
To maximise storage, we installed slatwall systems, enclosed cabinetry and loft boarding with a loft hatch, ensuring seasonal items and less frequently used belongings could be stored neatly out of sight.

What was once a standard double garage has been transformed into a multi-functional lifestyle space tailored to the family's needs.
