Garage Pilates Studio Conversion

Evolve Reformer Studios grew out of a love of Pilates, with owner Sian transforming her home garage into a private studio in Tysoe and launching Evolve Reformer Studios in January 2023. As the business expanded, Evolve outgrew the space and a fully equipped group studio was opened in May 2025 in nearby Long Compton.

The Tysoe studio still functions as a private space for one-to-one and two-to-one Pilates sessions, but with the need for a multi-functional office area, some re-modelling was required. That’s where we came in.

The garage door was decommissioned, insulated, and covered to create a more room-like feel, and a dedicated office area was created while still retaining everything needed for private Pilates sessions.​

From the outside, the garage looks unchanged. However, inside there’s no ugly garage door motor or cold, exposed metal door, although that can be reinstated if required. Instead the inside is now a warm, functional, and perfectly adapted space for both studio and office use.

We are proud to have contributed to this success story by helping Sian realise her dream. Evolve now has around 1,000 clients across both locations and Sian now predominantly manages the business from her new workspace.
